Khawal

Whyneemah Arabian Stud is situated just over the border from Canberra at Sutton NSW and has been breeding for 35 years.

The first pure bred mares were Ikneena (Ivan x Farah) in foal to Arim, Iraki Naseri (Scimitar Desert Prince x Lucina) in foal to Laramah, and the fillies Linden Silsila (Daftar x Glint of Silver) and Paladan Bukra (Mustifa x Farah).   Ikneena foaled a bay filly Whyneemah Shimona and Naseri foaled a filly Iraki Lucinda.

The  Stallions Khawal (Crystal Fire* x Autumn Sunshine*) and Benghazi (Royal Domino* x Pavlova ) were the foundation stallions for our stud.

Ikneena was a broodmare supreme, having produced 17 live foals.  Some that come to memory W. Wasim, gelding twice Royal Canberra Show champion and one Reserve champion plus many other awards. W. Bint Ikneena champion Ridden mare at the Australian championships. Plus many other awards. W. Jarrick, top endurance gelding and winner of 2 races in UAE  breaking world record. plus 1 2nd and a 3rd.  That is just a few; all her progeny have excelled in their endeavours.   Ikneena’s first daughter W. Shimona was also a great broodmare for me producing 16 live foals. Also excelling in riding with 4 being exported to UAE

The stud continued breeding along these lines until the stallion

Don Carlos* arrived in Australia. We bred 4 mares to him resulting in 3 colts and 1 filly. I choose Whyneemah Jarebb (Linden Silsila) to be our future sire and we retained the filly Whyneemah Shamira (Whyneemah Shimona) Donmana (Whyneemah Nahama) went to Patsy and Arthur Williams as a future sire and Whyneemah Don Azar (Whyneemah Arariah) was sold and unfortunately disappeared.

Whyneemah Jarebb has been an outstanding sire for us and has sired many outstanding progeny to name a few Whyneemah Sulaym 16HH rarely unbeaten in the show ring until having his shoulder fractured in 2 places at the age of 7 yrs. Now earning his keep as a babysitter for the colts.

Whyneemah Nazwahi winning high point mare for 5or 6 yrs in a row in the ACT.

Whyneemah Bint Ikneena has many wins in the show ring in ridden events.

Whyneemah Jarrik Exp UAE world record breaker in endurance in the UAE

Whyneemah Jaspah Exp UAE winner in the  UAE in Endurance

Whyneemah  Jataan Exp UAE doing well in endurance in the UAE

Others sold to the UAE Whyneemah Saba, Whyneemah Zubair, Whyneemah Shahmir, Whyneemah Jeddi, Whyneemah Jameel, Whyneemah Jabbona.

In 2002 I purchased the weanling colt Fenwick Silver Shadow to go over Jarebb’s daughters. I have 3 fillies by him and they will be bred to Jarebb in the future or his son Whyneemah Khaleb.

The fillies are below:

Mares and fillies still in the stud today are 3 Ikneena  granddaughters and 1 Iraki Naseri daughter W. Khali, and her 2 daughters and 1 grandson.

Unfortunately I had to sell Shadow as a 4 yr old due to my health. I hope to continue to breed a foal or two each year with the help of my family.
